Laugh So Hard We Cried

Respite Volunteer Rosemary Stap let us know she read the child's book, The Book on Chickens, to her friend that she is matched with that has dementia. It was so funny and she said they laughed so much, they had tears. When she went to leave, her friend she is matched with said “I had such a good time today.” We love this story that Rosemary shared with us. Books could be helpful to take along when visiting a person with dementia. Sometimes there is something magical about books for kids & youth with beautiful & colorful artwork too.
